Title:                     Student, Network Analyst – IMIT – IT Technical Services Team
Salary:                 $19.38 - $23.12 - $25.44 per hour (pay range explained below)
Contract:             4 Month-Term
Hours:                 37.5 hours, Monday- Friday (core hours- 9:00 am- 3:00 pm)
Location:            Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations - Sinclair Office, Metro Vancouver

About the role

As a Student, Network Analyst, you will do installations, troubleshooting, documentation and also support for software / applications, hardware administration, portals, and cloud services.

About you

- Currently enrolled in a formal program in Computer Sciences or related field of study

- Prior experience in supporting and IT environment is an asset (hardware, software, operation systems, monitors, multi-function devices)

Responsibilities:
•    Installation of software and hardware, troubleshooting of software and hardware, Mobile Device Management, Documentation of work, Working on Incidents and Requests in Service Now.
•    Support for Software/Applications, Hardware Administration, Portals, and Cloud Services.

Qualifications:
•    Working towards a university degree in computer science, or a college diploma/degree with a technical major included.
•    Possible travel to other FNHA office locations in the lower mainland

- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will also be accepted.

Knowledge, Skills, & Attributes:
•    Knowledge with escalated troubleshooting with software and desktop hardware issues, writing technical documentation.
•    Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of the team, Strong customer service orientation.
•    Sensitivity to and understanding of key issues and opportunities for BC First Nations health and wellness.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.

Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements. 

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level.  

As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
