About the role
Join our team as an Harm Reduction Indigenous Educator and make a meaningful impact on First Nation communities! Under the direction of the Regional Manager, Mental Health & Wellness, you'll spearhead the implementation of regional opioid/overdose response plans by delivering vital harm reduction education and training. Collaborate with the Regional Mental Wellness team to adapt and deliver a core curriculum that includes Naloxone Training and topics such as Indigenous Harm Reduction, Decolonizing Addiction, and Substance Use and Safety. Partner with provincial teams, Health Directors, and First Nation leadership to enhance skills and program knowledge, all while addressing the pressing opioid crisis. About you
Education
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Social Work, Clinical Psychology or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
•  
Experience
•    Recent, relevant and significant experience in the area of Indigenous harm reduction (usually acquired over a period of 3-5 years)
•    Experience working with Indigenous leadership, health professionals and communities
