Title:            Healing Modalities Project Developer
Salary:         $86,778 - $102,091 - $117,405 per year (pay range explained below)                          
Contract:     Permanent 
Hours:         37.5 hours per week (8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday)
Location:    Anywhere in BC (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy)

About the role
The Healing Modalities Project Developer is an exciting opportunity to liaise with First Nations and health systems partners through established regional processes to develop local, sub-regional and region-wide project documentation and plans, including, undertaking analysis, work planning, drafting, and budgeting, as well as developing reports, presentations, and briefings as required, and utilizing existing tools and templates where available. 

In this role, you will also provide support to management and may be asked to undertake the oversight of project teams and budgets as appropriate from time to time. You will provide assistance in accessing, planning, and distributing all regional envelope funds. Additionally, you will provide senior advisory support, direction and oversight of the Regional budget including contracts, contribution agreements, and the regional envelope.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • University Degree in a related field such as health policy, public policy, health systems management, political or social science, finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Recent and relevant experience in policy, project, or program development, including financial and resource management (usually acquired over a period of 5-7 years)
  • Experience in working with First Nations and First Nations health programs and services
  • Extensive Knowledge of the First Nations Health Authority, and the health and wellness landscape as related to BC First Nations
  • Must be proficient in current office productivity software (Microsoft Office suite of products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access)
  • Knowledge of First Nations colonial histories, and approaches to wellness and healing
