About the role
The Senior Analyst, Cultural Safety and Humility undertakes policy, standard, and process development and analysis to advance areas aligned with Regional strategies and objectives. From a systems wide perspective and working with health system partners, the Senior Analyst provides senior level expertise by reviewing, recommending and development of new policies by ensuring that cultural safety is a core attribute of quality healthcare through standardization of key practices, levers and enablers, and through establishing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Under the direction of the Regional Manager, Funding Initiatives, The Senior Analyst provides direct support to First Nations Health Community representatives and management and undertakes the oversight of project teams and budgets as appropriate.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have/be –

•   University Degree in a related field such as health policy, public policy, health systems management, political or social science or an equivalent combination of education and experience
•   Five (5) to seven (7) years of recent, relevant, and progressive experience in policy development and analysis 
•   Experience in working with First Nations and First Nations health programs and services
